Your X-card, , is the engine of the class. When you play Mode Switch (Top action), you destroy your current summoned Mode and replace it with a new one from your hand. The destroyed Mode returns to your hand, and the new Mode enters play with full HP and a free attack. Print out a flowchart

Understanding the Core Mechanic: Mode Switch Before looking at a single ability, you must understand the Prism's gimmick. The Prism does not have "summons" in the traditional sense (like the Boneshaper). Instead, it projects holographic "Cores" (Modes).
